Social media mapping

The online environment is something that for our generation seems natural, but when we go offline what are we leaving behind?

We may just go online to find particular information - in this case we do not leave a trace of our internet activity. If, however, we create online profiles on sites such as Facebook, Twitter or Blogger those profiles can be found long after we go offline.

Social media mapping is a tool that can help you keep track of your presence online. It is also used within business as well as part of on-going research about the internet involvement across different age groups. It can also indicate how much time is being spent online and what sites are the most popular.

Within business social media mapping, analysis can be used to help organise its social media and online usage to ensure that it is helping them achieve their goals. As a result of this it could improve productivity within a company.

This tool can also be used for personal reasons too I could help you maintain a controlled, positive and professional online presence.
